Avalon update chapters 6-7

For you Avalon readers out there I'm working on chapter six, our first real view of the aliens, I'm having trouble with it, but it's coming along, and then I figured maybe it's time we look back at the crew, so seven we revisit the ship, but eight... well, by then poor Jandi must pass through the darkness to the light beyond, if she survives!
