Tron Uprising : a review

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the new series on Disney called Tron uprising but I am about to review it for everybody. I just downloaded the few episodes out to my iPad and watched the very first one. I'm sure this post will be updated as I watch the other episode but for now we will just go on the first. It was incredibly beautiful the animation style was similar to Aeon Flux, Animatrix, Reign - Counqerer, basicly very Peter Chung. The storyline is very multitiered but if you're expecting something that goes along with the continuity of legacy or Tron you may be somewhat disappointed. Watch it like you would watch fanfiction, a story being told in a different part of the same world, using some of the same characters. It's the kind of show I hope my children will one day watch, the science, the technology, the graphics, in fact much of what I complained about in the actual Tron Legacy movie, they have corrected in Tron uprising the series. In something this new I'll try to be careful not to give away any spoilers and if by accident I do my apologies. Anyway to be brief this first episode tells the story about our protagonist, and how he changes into the hero he will one day become. To quote one reviewer Elijah Wood is a little stiff in his voice acting of the main lead but compared to Bruce Boxleitner, Mandy Moore, Lance Henricksen, well it's it's a tough group to stand out in. At first I did give him a little leeway as he's not really a voice actor and doesn't have nearly the experiences some of these other larger named actors, but he does have experience, in fact more experience than many actors or actresses his age and he did do the movie nine which was all animation so he should have enough experience in voice acting, so all I can think of is maybe he's not comfortable in filling this role yet and he's not comfortable in this world yet. I'm truly hoping that this is not just lightning in a teacup and they did their very best for the pilot and the quality is going to go down from here. I'm also hoping that the actors fit into their characters better. I'm sure we will be seeing each other again on an update on this as I see more of the episodes I will see you then, until then have a great life, and thanks for reading, I hope you're enjoying this as much as I am writing it. It doesn't really have anything to do it Tron but maybe I'll do a special post on this later, strangely what started out as a class exercise has become something I truly enjoy doing, and the data being acquired as this single voice goes around the world is really incredible and enjoyable to watch.
