Just a thought I'm working on, keep your eyes open for the update. Why is body modification seen as extreme, yet
plastic surgery is for the most part totally exceptable, it almost seems as if your trying to look like the 1% of those considered attractive is good, but using your body as a living example of who you are on the inside is taboo? Again that's not to say I can't help wondering if cutting could get you into trouble if discovered, if you get piercings, tattoos, scarification, braiding, and other forms of self mutilation are finding greater degrees of acceptability today? Again as usual I'm thinking out loud! Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
